Samcheongak
Samcheonggak, which means "Three Purities Palace" in Korean, was built in 1972 as a venue for political conferences. Surrounded by the magnificent Bukhan Mountain, Samcheonggak features traditional Korean architecture. It consists of various traditional structures: a traditional house called Ilhwadang that is available for cultural performances, international conferences and seminars; a traditional teahouse; a Korean cuisine restaurant; and an outdoor space used for traditional plays and events. Besides the modern main dining hall, there are also beautiful Hanok buildings that can be used for private functions such as banquets. Each building has a distinct purpose. Meanwhile, it also enables participants to experience traditional Korean cultures with performances, tea ceremonies, craftworks and Korean cuisine.
