Your hiking of the day is Olle Route 7-1, beginning at at World Cup Stadium of the otherworldly architectural design. Everyone would do well to stop and look back as they move along; the views spreading below are amazing. Encountered with on your trail are some villages set in the tangerine groves, craters, a waterfall, a cave and rice fields. Do not be disappointed at Ungtto Waterfall, due to Jeju's porous rock, only flows after heavy rainfall. The trekking continues uphill until you reach the top of Gogunsan. The treat of your hiking comes soon after descending into a crater valley. There is a rare sight of Jeju's rice fields. Cows and horses graze nearby. A breeze touches your face. The scenery is picturesquely rural and pastoral. The walk continues to Sammae-bong, a small Oreum and finally to the Oedolgae needle rock with Munseom isle in the background, creating a stunning view.
